The Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement Hon Richard Todwong, has pledged the party’s support towards the upcoming Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Birthday Run by contributing Ugx 10 million to the cause.
Whime speaking during his visit to the Patriotic League of Uganda Secretariat today, Hon Todwong congratulated the organisers and participants, noting the significance of the event in mobilising Ugandans, particularly the youth, around shared national values and causes.

Hon Todwong also commended the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for his leadership and influence, describing him as a strong role model who continues to inspire many young people and emphasised that the run, which coincides with Gen Muhoozi’s 52nd birthday, reflects maturity, experience, and a continued commitment to national service and social transformation.
He called upon all NRM members, supporters, and well-wishers to participate in the run scheduled for this Sunday, adding that the party would officially take part in the event.
He noted that a delegation of senior party leaders would join the activities and urged collective participation to promote unity and national development.
