Buganda Masaza Cup 2025 champions Buweekula Football Club are set to unveil the committee for the 2026 campaign.
According to the team chairperson, Mr. Richard Kasumba, the team will unveil the coaching staff on May 10, 2026. At the same event, we will unveil the committee members who will run the team for the 2026 Masaza Cup tournament.
“10 May, at 3 pm, coaching staff and committee Buweekula 2026,” Kasumba shared on his socials.

According to the team chairperson, Mr. Richard Kasumba, the team will unveil the coaching staff on May 10, 2026. The same event will witness the unveiling of the committee members who will run the team for the 2026 Masaza Cup tournament.
“1st April, at 10 am, coaching staff and committee Buweekula 2026,” Kasumba shared on his socials.
Mr. Kasumba revealed that the event will commence at 10 am at the HK Hotel in Mubende.
“Venue, HK Hotel,” he shared.
The ‘Nakayima boys’ emerged champions under Coach Felix Ssekabuuza Ssalongo after a 1- 0 win against Singo FC in the final at Hams stadium in Nakivubo on November 1, 2025, thanks to Alex Talemwa’s first-half magical dribble and phenomenal shot outside the box.
The win granted Buweekula a chance to host the 2026 Masaza Cup championship, and preparations for the anticipated opener on June 13 are in high gear.
“All is set, we are going to have a very good season. We have a very good coaching staff who are very much experienced and ready to take on the task to have Buweekula have a fruitful season,” Richard Kasumba told Boom Uganda.
Buweekula are heading into the 2026 season with hopes of becoming the first-ever Ssaza to win back-to-back Masaza Cup championships.
