Sadiiki Adam Mugume at St Andrews Kancerere where he thanked Bishop Dan Zoreka

The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka yesterday September 29th, confirmed 31 Christian into the Anglican faith in a farewell service that was held at St. Andrews COU Kancerere in Kanyatorogo Archdeaconry of the Diocese of Kinkiizi.

The pastoral visit started with laying a foundation stone at Church Founded Kancerere Nursery and Primary school a school that has been built by the church and the Bishop thanked Christians for working together putting up a wonderful plan that will benefit generations. 

According to the Diocesan Education coordinator, Rev Canon Stella Arineitwe, plans are underway to register the school that started this year with classes from Baby class to P.3 now has an enrollment of 122 pupils only after two terms. 

According to Eng Anthony Mubangizi, the school chairman management, the plan to have the school started one year ago but started serious business at the beginning of this year.

They already have one 4 classroom broke and with offices and have started a new structure which they intend to finish this year and they intend to have the school have classes up to P.7 in a period of three year.

In his sermon Bishop Zoreka encouraged Christian families to work together in a union so as to have a productive system and further asked families to have a clear work plan which can help them to have a clear direction while developing their families and castigated Christians who have stopped working and spend most of their time in fellowships saying, this is not how God designed human being.

While speaking at the same event, the Provincial Communications officer Sadik Adams Mugume, applauded the Bishop for good shepherd-hood during his tenure saying that he has not only been a good shepherd in the Diocese but even at the Provincial level.
