KABALE- The Head of Human Resources and Admin at Electricity Regulatory Authority Safina Nagayi, has encouraged Girls to Pursue Science Subjects to Meet Job Market Demands.

Speaking at an event organized by the Electricity Regulatory Authority in partnership with schools dubbed ‘’Girls in Energy’’ held at Hornby Girls’ High School in the Northern Division of Kabale Municipality, Safina Nagayi, the Head of Human Resources, encouraged female students to take up science subjects as a strategic path to securing employment opportunities.

She emphasized that pursuing science-related courses provides an advantage in the job market, as it offers a clearer and more competitive route for career advancement.

Nagayi highlighted that the Ministry of Energy already has a significant number of women in various roles, demonstrating that female professionals can excel in this field. She further pointed out that science and technology-related careers are less saturated compared to other disciplines, making them an excellent choice for young women seeking stable and rewarding careers.

She urged girls to remain in school, stressing that dropping out would limit their future prospects and hinder the fulfillment of their dreams. By staying committed to their education, she explained, they can unlock greater opportunities and achieve long-term success in their chosen careers.
