Magogo, Ogwang and other officials at MoU signing

NEWS- The Minister of State for Sports, Peter Ogwang this week witnessed the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, Handover of Tittles and Signing of Land Transfer forms between FUFA and Gov’t represented by National Council of Sports (NCS) for the construction of Hoima stadium.

This agreement marks the beginning of the first step to achieving the construction of Hoima Stadium for AFCON 2027.

“I thank FUFA, the land owners and Government for the commitment. Together, we will deliver, Ogwang said.

FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo said they have donated the land freely to gov’t for purposes of sports development in our country.

“I thank Hon Minister of State for Sports, Peter Ogwang for being workaholic; he has done a lot to see sports development in our country. Special thanks go to the First Lady, H.E The President and Parliament of Uganda for prioritizing sports in our country”, Magogo said.
