RUKUNGIRI- As the election season intensifies, residents in Nyakishenyi Parish, Rukungiri District have called on the incumbent district chairman, Geofrey Kyomukama, to transfer the office keys to their son, Angello Twinomuhangi, who is running for the position in the upcoming elections.

During a fundraising function at Kibale Primary School on weekend, residents expressed their frustrations with the current administration, citing unmet promises and a lack of engagement.

The fundraising attendants voiced their support for Angello Twinomuhangi, believing he would bring fresh perspectives and a commitment to local issues.

“We’re ready for change, it’s time for someone who truly understands our community to step in” said residents.

While addressing the congregation, Twinomuhangi rallied the community to support him expressing his dedication to work towards development of Education, health and ensuring community connections through infrastructure development.

The hopeful District boss urged parents to support government efforts in ensuring transformation of their schools that will in turn shape their children for a better and secured future.

On numerous occasions, the district boss Kyomukama has always defended his tenure, highlighting achievements in infrastructure and community programs.

“I have together with fellow district leaders and Parliamentarians dedicated my time to improving this district, and I believe we are on the right path,” he has numerously stated.
