The New Muntuyera SACCO Branch opened at Ruyonza Trading Center Rushenyi county

NTUNGAMO- The Ntungamo district commercial officer Aryanyijuka Ezrah has appealed to Financial institutions and Organizations to intensify accountability and transparency as one way of transforming the community.

Aryanyijuka made remarks today while presiding over Muntuyera Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Limited Rwashamaire to reward the Best Performing Members in saving and in using loans acquired from the cooperative on the sidelines of opening a third branch in Ruyonza Trading center Rushenyi county.

Aryanyijuka requested the members of the community to always first save before seeking for loans and encouraged them to eradicate poverty through Muntuyera SACCO.

The chairman Board of Directors Muntuyera SACCO Rwashamaire Rev Nahoora Benson hailed the SACCO for increasing branches in order to extend services nearer to the community and pledged total commitment to serve them diligently.

Rev Nahoora asked the Ruyonza branch members to fully embrace the SACCO activities to win Christmas hampers and gifts packages (Ekiterekye).

He thanked the staff led by Kwarisiima Agnes for implementing Sacco’s plans and projects in a timely manner for sustainable development.

The manager Muntuyera SACCO Rwashamaire Kwarisiima Agnes revealed that Muntuyera SACCO has three branches including Rwashamaire head office, Akatojo and Ruyonza.

The manager Kwarisiima told them that over 170 news members have already registered at the Ruyonza branch advising others to join.

The Very Rev Canon Cranmer Mwesigwa the Dean St Mathews’ Cathedral Kyamate and Rev Canon James Ndyanabo Rutaraka the vetting chairperson blessed the meeting among others.

Benon Rwamafa the chairman LCI Ruyonza welcomed the initiative. The best performers received Christmas gifts and incentives including goat, chicken and hampers.
