My name is Tabaruka MacArans (Kinkiizi East, 2026-31).
I woke up to deliberate conversations on this platform and thought out loud to demystify a few facts here and there.
First, I want to thank you all for the engagement and hopefully in the near future that I will get an opportunity for further engagement.
Secondly, what is a fact is that after several consultations, I again picked nominations forms to show my interest in participating in the internal processes of our freedom party [Peoples Front Freedom] and thus the official poster.
This intention, is a move to offer an issue-based, constructive, and inclusive progress for #KinkiiziEast leadership in our generation that should be proactive, rather not divisive, and should amplify the voices of the underprivileged—the ‘have-nots.’ [Abateine]
We respect the national electoral processes and will engage on the policy matters that matter most to our communities, but the party’s internal processes utmost.
There will be several claims as I have already seen that my candidacy is a distraction. I’m not finding solid public proof of that and thus would not want to engage prematurely.
I hope we find facts for such baseless claims to enable better and transparent debates.
Our freedom party [PFF] and the Electoral Commission have known roadmaps that indicate both ongoing internal party processes through August to September 2025, any serious Ugandan & voter should follow through all these processes.
Our constitution protects the right & freedom to expression and association [such as participation in elective politics] for all eligible parties and candidates this is the basis for my enjoyment of right.
For avoidance of doubt Ugandans, will prefer that any intending candidate provides an agenda for consideration [ and that is what my team and I are working on after the party offers us a bold step to represent it]
I invite you all our friends to join our issue-based and constructive campaign to deliver our constituency from divisive & combative undertakings.
Our campaign will center on accountability, transparency, and service to the underprivileged.
We will engage respectfully with opponents, focus on policy proposals, and reject divisive tactics.
Youthful energy should unite, not fracture our generation.”
We have consulted largely, our people and especially leaders and elders and thus ask that we distinguish clearly between fact, rumor, and opinion.
I acknowledge the gains made by our past leaders but also believe that there concerns that need fresh energies to steer our constituency.
