NEWS- The Kabale district speaker Hon Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagyizi has raised a red flag on dirtiness at the district Headquarters saying that it looks like a bush.
Speaking during the council session, Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagyizi said that the district has become a rubbish dumping site where they deposit everything
Speaker pointed out that they were very ashamed when they hosted a delegation from the Kigezi sub region who were preparing for the presidential visit about the tall grass in the district.

The district speaker said that the dirtiness is not only at the district council hall but also at the District Education Officer offices block where she has participated in cleaning yet there is someone who is supposed to clean.

She challenged the clerk to council to warn whoever uses the council hall and those that hold meetings therein to always come along with their own dustbin stressing she’s tired with the dirt they always leave behind.
Kanagizi said that on several occasions, she cleaned her office personally and when the smell from the toilets worsens, she powers water herself as if the district has no office attendants.
Speaker said that as leaders, they need to work together or else herself and the clerk to council will lock all the buildings such that nobody accesses the toilets.
Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagyizi said they elected her to be a speaker not a cleaner.
