KAGADI- Tragedy has struck residents of Muhorro town council, Kagadi district after discovering and retrieving from the waters of River Muzizi a body of the 25-year old man who was allegedly killed and dumped into the river by unknown assailants.
The deceased has been identified as Jacob Benda a resident of Kalarike Cell, Nyanseke ward in Muhorro town council Kagadi district.
Upon discovering the body last evening, residents notified police about the tragic incident and officers swiftly responded and reached the scene, retrieved the body and conveyed it to Kyamutunzi health center for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of his death.
Locals recall receiving sorrow information that found them at their different locations notifying them about the tragic loss of their fellow resident.

Speaking to Kararike, LCI Chairman Augustine Kasangaki says the deceased might have been killed by his colleagues following a disagreement over sharing fish caught from the River.
He issued a rallying call to the youth in the community, emphasizing the importance of hard work and observing discipline to overcome poverty and live in a conflict free society.
