KAMPALA- As part of the ongoing measures to improve the. Judicial service efficiency, the Judiciary has transferred 28 Judicial Officers at the rank of Registrars and Magistrates and also deployed two Grade 1 magistrates in accordance with the Public Service Standing Orders aimed strengthening the administration of Justice across the various judicial stations across the country.
The Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny-Dollo Chigamoi has welcomed the decision and emphasized that the role of the judiciary is to address staffing gaps and ensuring that justice is delivered efficiently.
The Acting Chief Registrar, Pamela Lumunu Ocaya who effected the transfers noted that the redeployment noted that the transfers were carefully undertaken to ensure optimum utilisation of judicial resources while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the system.
Chief Registrar Lumunu expressed appreciation for the dedication and service of the transferred officers at their previous work stations and extended her best wishes for continued success in their new assignments.
