NEWS- In his continuous move to support churches in NGARIAM County, the state Minister for sports Peter Ogwang this morning delivered a donation of 50 bags of cement to St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic church in Abela Chiele subzone, Getom Sub County.
The cement was handed over to the Christians by the district woman councilor for Akoboi & Getom, Irene Among amidst ululations from the Christians who chanted victory gospel songs for the Minister.
Irene Among in her message appealed to the people of Abela not to forget such a leader like Ogwang who sacrifices a lot for the development of our communities.
The Abela Christian community applauded Ogwang’s initiative of supporting churches in the constituency and described him as a servant leader chosen by God whose leadership is centered towards social economic transformation.
“We are happy for the support. Ogwang is really an action oriented leader. We tabled our request just three days ago and today he has honored it. Ogwang obusi”, Apio Immaculate said.
Ibwalingat Augustine Oite the chairperson construction committee said, the support will enable in the completion of their church structure which has been wanting interns of cement.
“Come 2026, Ogwang is assured deal for us. Those contesting with him are wasting their time, we shall die with Ogwang” Okoli said.
