KAMPALA- Tabula Lujja ; the Key suspect in the murder of Ndiga Clan head Lwomwa Bbosa Kakeedo has today recorded an extra-judicial statement before a magistrate confessing to orchestrating the murder of his clan head for basically three major reasons .
According to a reliable source that proffered no mention since confessions statements are confidential, the major reason for the murder of Omutaka Kakeedo Bbosa was that him and his family members murdered Tabula’s father a one Israel in 1989 and they were never punished for this crime hence choosing to avenge his father .
That the late Lwomwa and his family members sold off the Ndiga clan land at Mbale in Mpigi after the demise of the first Lwomwa and built a toilet on his grave forcing his ancestors to relocate to Namulonge .
The third reason given by Tabula is that the late Lwomwa Kakeedo Bbosa was proving to be a thorn in his pursuit to secure ownership of the Namulonge land.
Tabula then insisted that he is the true Lwomwa and to obtain his title, he had to murder Bbosa.
He has further told the Buganda Road Court chief magistrate Ronald Kayiizi in his 4hrs and 58 minutes confession, that 4 out of the 5 people arrested and charged before the Mwanga 11 court over the murder of Bbosa are innocent and its only Noah Lujja ; His nephew who is guilty of committing the murder of Bbosa .
Tabula has gone ahead to clarify that Milly Naluwenda, the Kisekwa court secretary’s only crime, was calling him( Tabula) to inform him of Lwomwa’s murder but she was never part of the mission .
Tabula has further confessed before the magistrate that the 17 skulls that were recovered from his shrine in Mpigi were obtained to work on his ancestral/ clan spirits, denying killing human beings to get them.
The confession statement is voluntarily recorded by a suspect who willingly admits to an offence without Coercion but the recording judicial officer must warn the suspect that whatever he says will be used against him/ her during trial.
Tabula will be produced in court on Monday for the murder of Lwomwa on 24th/ February 2024 who was gunned down near his home in Lungujja.
