The National Resistance Movement Leaders in Kigezi Sub-region have been asked exercise utmost transparency in the coming LC 1 and 2, and women Council elections and ensure that the party emerges strong at grassroot to ensure proper and timely service delivery to the population.
This was contained in a massage delivered by the NRM Deputy Treasurer Hon Jacqueline Kyatuheire who is also the party cordinator for Kigezi Sub-Region at one meeting meeting for district leaders that took place at Cephas Inn in Kabale Municipality.
The meeting was attended by Members of Parliament, District NRM Chairpersons, NRM District flagbearers, District NRM Women Executives, District NRM registrars, Resident District Commissioners, Regional Internal Security Officers and District Security Officers among many others.
In her massage which was delivered by the NRM Deputy Cordinator for Kigezi Sub Region, Lt Col Edward Natukunda, the Party Deputy Treasurer made it categorically clear that it now time to elect LC 1 Chairpersons who will ensure that the Patry President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni manifesto is well implemented at grassroots especially Parish Development Model (PDM) and this calls for proper strategies to ensure that the positions are won by the NRM candidates.
The meeting forms part of the countrywide National Resistance Movement District meetings aimed at briefing and build capacity for leaders ahead of the Sub-county Barazas (meetings) that will be in charge of mobilisation and coordination for the coming LC and Women election.
The meetings will be held at respective Sub-county headquarters and also at the village level to ensure that no 9ne is left out on the election day.
