Ntungamo district delegates endorsed Hon Among

Delegates of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) from Ntungamo District and Ntungamo Municipality have pledged their full support to the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Among, in her bid for the position of NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Female).

The endorsement was made during a meeting in Ntungamo district council Hall today.

Speaker Among was represented by Hon Kateshumbwa Dickson the MP Sheema Municipality and Dan Atwijukire Kimosho MP Kazo county.

Hon Dan Kimosho applauded the Speaker’s leadership and commitment to the party and the country noting that endorsing her shall strengthen NRM to rule Uganda for another 50 years.

Kimosho hailed the people of Ntungamo district for unanimously supporting the speaker’s candidature ahead of the delegates’ conference at Kololo independence grounds.

Hon Kateshumbwa revealed supporting Rt Hon Among will continue with her advocacy for women empowerment, and her unwavering support for NRM in Eastern Uganda.

The endorsement was brought by the district speaker Twikiriize Nicholas Mugyenyi and seconded by the Rubaare sub county councillor John Kabeho and the whole house.

The deputy RDC Ntungamo Atuhaire Rosemary on her knees before the delegates implored them and Ugandans at large to support president Museveni and NRM for peace and security to flourish in the country.

The NRM chairman Fred Muhinda reaffirmed their commitment to mobilize support and actively participate in the implementation of government programs at the grassroots.
