NEWS- Following the ongoing Women Conference for Soroti Catholic Diocese in Katakwi, the RDC Godfrey Katamba has declared ending it successfully with no incidences of violence.
The conference that started on 3rd Sept and ending tomorrow 7th, has gathered over ten thousand women at Boma grounds of Katakwi is held yearly for all the eleven districts of Teso.
Katamba cited that they have not received any incident of Violence currently because of the maximum police force deployed to the event.

Bishop Joseph Eciru Oliach is expected to close this conference on Saturday, September 7th 2024 that will be graced by Vice President Rt. Major Jessica Alupo Epel as the chief Guest.
The RDC has further called upon the people of Katakwi to cooperate together with all the visitors from other districts in building mutual relationships while strengthening their faiths.
