The Police in Rubanda District are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man identified as Edson Orikiriza Ntugusa a casual labourer and resident of Hamuhambo cell in Kagarama Ward in Hamuhambo Town Council.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate told journalists that its alleged that the deceased was murdered today in the wee hours of the morning at Hamurambi cell in Kagarama by unknown people and his body recovered in the morning.
The Area Chairperson Benon Turyahebwa was informed, and he reported the matter to the Police at Lake Bunyonyi, where investigations commenced.
The Police at Rubanda Central Police Station responded to the crime scene, was processed and documented and the postmortem examination was done at the crime scene by the Police Surgeon who found deep cuts on his head.
