KAMPALA- Uganda is set to host the 43rd African association for public administration and management round table conference scheduled for 26th – 29th November 2024 at Speke Resort hotel Munyonyo.
The conference will run under the theme: “Agile and resilient public administration for sustainable development in Africa”.
President Yoweri Museveni will be the guest of honour.
The head of public service and secretary to the cabinet and also the president Uganda association of public administration and management Lucy Nakyobe says, the conference will present an opportunity for Uganda as a country to continue pursuing the mission of deepening the pan Africanism.
It will attract heads of public service, public administrators, public service commissions, senior government bureaucrats, human resource managers, researchers and academicians.
Nakyobe adds that the conference will provide an opportunity to Uganda as a country to boost its tourism potential, boosting the economy through investment opportunities, cultural exposure, networking opportunities and increasing national visibility in the region and on the continent.
Nakyobe said this while addressing the media at the Uganda media institute about this conference.
