RUBIRIZI- A senior three student of St Thomas Vocational School has mysteriously disappeared causing unrest to parents, school heads and the community at large.
Mercy Louis a female aged 17 a resident of Bururuma village in Rubirizi has been a day scholar at the mentioned school and this website got information that she disappeared on 22nd February 2022 but the case of his disappearance was just reported to police by her guardian Abeine Innocent this week.
It’s reported that it’s on 24th February 2024 when the reporter received a call from the Head teacher one Mbabazi informing him that the victim had disappeared from the school.
The Case is now being investigated at Rubirizi Central Police Station vide CRB 118/2024 and statements have already been obtained from the guardian, deputy head teacher and victims’ friends.
“The victim’s whereabouts were still unknown and police were investigating to know the motive behind laying the matter and identifying possible accomplices”, SSP Martial Tumusiime (Greater Bushenyi Police Communications Officer) told this reporter.
