NEWS- The Rukiga county hopeful Member of Parliament Patrick Kiconco Katabazi aka KP has called upon all stakeholders’ engagement in fighting the escalating Poverty levels in communities.
He said this while celebrating Palm Sunday with Christians at Bukinda Catholic Parish Kakatunda.
Patrick Kiconco Katabazi who doubles as the City Counsel said that in Kigezi Sub region over 27% of the population have remained beyond unspeakable poverty lines, something that leaves communities in a warring state.
He charged believers not only to focus on developing their churches but also look back at their families ahead of them engaging in government programs that are meant to sweep away poverty in Families, like Parish Development Modal (PDM), Emyooga Program NAADs among others.

Council Patrick Kiconco Katabazi added that reports shows that the Cross generation poverty has escalated in the country thus encouraging parents to mind much on educating their children.
He charged believers to also keep fighting for their good health, rushing for Medical checkup always in the nearby Facilities to avoid growing diseases that may require them to spend too much after their growth.

During the service led by the Parish Priest Rev Fr. Tukwasibwe William Patrick Kiconco Katabazi pledged to Roof the Sisters House at the Parish which the Parish is hoping to construct at their premises.
