GULU- President Yoweri Museveni has advised Members of Parliament from Northern Uganda to relieve off themselves the war talk and hangover to focus on homestead income projects.
Museveni says several other areas like Masaka, Mbarara, Luwero another others have undergone war and because they have focused beyond war rhetoric talk, there is some development being realized.
Museveni’s comments followed the so many comments from legislators on the consequences of war on the area Museveni says the war talk must stop and focus on development.
Museveni tasked the attorney general to explain the compensation for war victims who faulted the process of increasing the number of beneficiaries on top of the low and inconsistent budget lines.

The President revealed that he plans to convene a meeting of all concerned stakeholders on the compensation of war victims.
Museveni said that it is time Northern Uganda gets past the war, and focuses fully on wealth creation to improve homestead incomes.
