NTUNGAMO- The South Ankole Diocese has today ordained 14 priests and 6 deacons during the ordination and priesthood service held at St Mathew’s Cathedral Kyamate Ntungamo municipality.
In his homily, the South Ankole Diocesan Bishop the Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has reminded the newly priests and deacons that they have been transfigured into priests and deacons to go and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe appealed to the parishioners for prayer, support and received them warmly for the growth of the Church.
Bishop flanked by many clerics, emphasized the importance of the vows they exchanged and remained focused to serve God with undivided hearts and be the light to all believers without discrimination.

The venerable Rev Canon Joram Akoragye the Archdeacon Rubaare asked the priests and ordains to follow Jesus Christ footsteps in order to serve His flocks diligently.
Ven Rev Canon Akoragye who led the retreat condemned the false teachings but rather saw the mustard seed of Jesus Christ because they will reap everlasting life.

The Diocesan head of laity Dr Bildard Baguma and diocesan chancellor Hon Stephen Tashobya requested all Christians to fundraise for the new Bishop’s vehicle.
Later the Diocesan education department awarded Leadership certificates to the retired secondary school head teachers including Muganga Joseph of Muntuyera HS Kitunga, Arinaitwe Emmanuel of Kyamate SS, and Lule Herbert of Rugarama SS for being good stewards.
