
The Special Forces Command Spokesperson Maj Jimmy Dennis Omara has guided the media to on reporting time to the venue, access and accreditation procedures and operational zone.
While addressing local and foreign Media at Kololo Independence Cemonial Grounds, the venue for the event, Maj Omara reminded journalists extended to cover the inauguration ceremony to confirm with their accreditation and to also ensure that they adhere to the set terms of reference for the day that include wearing their respective Media houses’ branded attires for swift coordination.
Major Omara also notified the general public to watch the planned drone light show in Kampala Capital City skies tonight.
While speaking at the same event, the Uganda Police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke confirmed heightened security measures already activated around Entebbe International Airport routes and at Kololo Independence Grounds.
Kituuma Rusoke reminded the people intending to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony to follow guidelines issued to them by the event’s organizing committee including the appropriate use of stickers issued for access to designated areas as per the established protocol.
The Head of Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms Margaret Awino Kafeero explained to the media about the foreign dignitaries arrivals and their expected numbers.

The Executive Director of the Uganda Media Center Allan Kasujja announced a mass broadcasting plan for tomorrow’s Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony at Kololo Independence Grounds and rallied Ugandans to keep track of the event on all national Media platforms for the live feed.
Obed Kamugisha Katureebe from the Uganda Media Center and the national organizing committee for the presidential inauguration ceremony spoke about other aspects of the Media planning for the day and urged them to be cautious of whatever they have to do without isolating themselves from others.
