The Kibaale Chief Magistrate Court has today afternoon remanded the NRM Parliamentary flag bearer for Bugangaizi East Constituency in Kakumiro District Hon Onesmas Twinamasiko for allegedly assaulting Uganda’s Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja.
A calm Twinamasiko appeared before Court in Kibaale and where charges of assault and causing bodly harm were preferred.
It is alleged on 17th July this year at the declaration of Party Primaries results a scuffle erupted at Kakumiro NRM Office and in due course, Twinamasiko assaulted the Prime Minister Rt Hon Nabbanja in front of several NRM supporters.
Twinamasiko has been remanded until 10th of this month and sent to Kibaale Government Prison.
