NEWS- It was all fun and joy as the lovers and supporters of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine and National Unity Platform welcomed him and other party leaders in Rukungiri.
The National Unity Platform party principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine charged the youth and the community at large to stand for the truth if they are to get the change they deserve in their own country.
Kyagulanyi who was on Wednesday 17th July 2024 speaking to the hundreds of people at Kagashe playground, in Eastern division Rukungiri municipality committed himself and the whole party to fighting corruption should he dare step in state house as the president of the Republic of Uganda.
The NUP president also highlighted fighting poverty and improving infrastructure as the core values stressing that service delivery is their priority.
He noted that the power belongs to the people regardless of their religions, origin and political affiliations and therefore they have to come together if they are to defeat ” Museveni and his thieves”.
He was accompanied by Molly Mugisha the deputy president in charge of Western Uganda, Hon. Joel Basekezi Ssenyonyi the leader of Opposition, Lewis David Rubongoya the party secretary General, Hon. Francis Zaake Butebi, Hon. Nyeko Derrick, Nubian Lee among many others.
