NEWS- Women have been encouraged to emulate mother Mary, the mother of Jesus if they are to have long-lasting families built in Christ.
The message was sounded by Mujuni Lawrence Pac Mpitsi who is eyeing the Rubabo County Parliamentary seat as he officiated at Mary’s day at Nyakisoroza Archdeaconry, in Nyakishenyi Sub County, Rukungiri district.
According to Mpitsi, women must emulate Mary’s hardwork, honest and patience in their daily lives since they are in most cases pillars of the families.
Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi also challenged the Congregation and Ugandans as a whole country to exhibit patriotism in whatever they do especially embracing and executing the National Resistance Movement- NRM programs to cause social economic transformation in their communities.
“As we celebrate Mary’s day, I appeal to you the women, to emulate the example of Mary because she was hardworking, honest and patient” Mpitsi noted.
Mpitsi donated to them Ugx 1 Million cash, bought a goat at Ugx 500,000, a hen at Ugx 200,000 and also bought them a computer to help them in managing the daily running of the Church activities.
Before joining congregation at Nyakiosroza, Mpitsi visited some patients at Kisiizi hospital where he interacted with Doctors on duty and was appreciative to the quality of services at the Church of Uganda founded facility.
