Michael Kushaba a farmer says since its inception in the ward, OWC has never supplied agricultural inputs in time pushing farmers to buy their own inputs to chase the seasons other than waiting for late OWC supplies.

Amos Kasaba another farmer in the area narrates that it’s 3 times now since OWC officials have been visiting him and promised him a cow but all in vain.

Last year, Kasaba constructed a modern kraal to accommodate a cow and elephant grass to feed it on after promises from OWC officials but has never received the promise.

Kasaba maintains that the project is instead benefiting the ones that have already achieved its objectives rather than operating to have them full filled.

Dennis Tugume the Rukungiri Municipal Veterinary officer one of the implementers of the program in the municipality says that there has been constraints in regard to the quantities supplied which makes it hard to divide them amongst the chosen beneficiaries.

Tugume however blames lazy farmer who wait for free inputs rather than starting up with the little they have so that the program can give them a push in improving their house hold income.
