NEWS– A bus belonging to Mbarara based Global Bus company was on Good Friday evening involved in an accident along Mbarara – Lyantonde road.The bus registration number UBG 812K was coming from Kampala to Mbarara by the time the accident happened according to an eyewitness that anonymously spoke to our repoter.
The eyewitness added that no fatality was registered in a scene that the bus veered of the road shortly after Sanga Town in Kiruhura district.
According to witnesses, the bus driver was speeding, stressing that it might be the reason he failed to control the motor vehicle, causing it to veer off the road.
Neither the Police nor the bus management had issued any statement concerning the accident by press time. However, we promise to keep you posted with any detail that emerges.
