This donation is the third similar to the previous ones he donated to the community in Kajagiro cell also in Katonya and Bikongozo Parishes all in Nyakishenyi Sub County in his move to ensure the community is served with clean and safe water.

Francis Byamugisha and Mubangizi Godius, the Rwangura and Kajagiro cells’ chairperson expressed gratitude to Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi for thinking about the health and security of their people since some would meet attackers on route to streams.

The duo added that diseases related to dirty water were common in the area and might soon become history given the current water that has been availed to their areas.

“It’s our privilege as a community; this water will relieve our people from trekking long distances seeking unsafe water from the streams in the area. We’re blessed to have you, and our appeal is that our people support and rally others to see you in Parliament come 2026” said Chairpersons.

Mr. Kwikiriza Amphrey, who coordinates Mujuni Mpitsi’s activities in Katonya parish, noted that this role will cost them over Ugx 4 million, stressing that Mpitsi’s mission is having a community free from illnesses that can be controlled earlier.

Kwikiriza rallied the people of Katonya to take care of the donated water extensions to ensure that it serves their area for a long period of time.

He asked people to support Mpitsi in his 2026 endeavors so that he can keep serving their area towards development.

A senior resident in the area who preferred anonymity confided to this reporter that the support Mr. Mpitsi is rendering to the community even when he’s not holding any position might be the reason he is gaining support every day that goes by.
