NEWS- The Police in Sheema District are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic murder of a 25-year-old woman.
SSP Marcial Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi Police spokesman told the press that the incident occurred during the night of Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at an undisclosed time in Market Cell, Kabwohe Ward, Sheema District.
Tumusiime has since identified the victim as Shallot Turyahabwe, 25, who worked as a waitress and resided in Market Cell, Kabwohe, Sheema Municipality.
According to reports, on April 22nd, 2024, Sheema police received information from Ssenyonga Muhammed, the local council one official of Market Cell, regarding the discovery of the deceased’s body in his area.
Tumusiime added that Shallot Turyahabwe worked as a waitress at Dorah’s Hotel in Market Cell, Sheema Municipality, Sheema District.
He further noted that the body of the deceased appeared fresh with no visible physical injuries and was subsequently transported to Kabwohe Health Center IV hospital mortuary for further examination through postmortem analysis.
