Nabbanja with her guests

The Government of Uganda has pledged to strengthen her economic cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. 

This was contained in a message delivered by the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja while speaking to leaders from the African continent and the world attending the ongoing expo in China.

Rt Hon Nabbanja highlighted the investment areas Uganda is interested to tap from China that include Trade , industrial cooperation , infrastructure development, health and Youth Innovations, green development and security.

The Prime Minister informed the prospective investors that Uganda has created a conducive environment that allows foreign direct investments to shrive in Uganda and urged fellow African leaders to deepen their economic partnership with China.

Prime Minister is currently in China leading a Ugandan Delegation at the Fourth China – Africa Economic Trade Expo in the city of Changsha and is accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs Gen Jeje Odongo, Minister for Energy Dr Ruth Nankabirwa, Minister for trade Hon Francis Mwebesa and Minister of State for Works Hon Musa Ecweru.
