In the indictment sending Dr. Eron Lawrence to the High court, the DPP says she has further evidence showing that the tutor first sedated the underage girl in a bottle of drinking water and later had sexual inter-course with her.

That it’s not until the victim gained her senses back and realized  her under garments were wet and had pain in genitalia that she came to  know what Dr. Eron had done to her .

Evidence further shows that Both Dr. Eron and the victim together with a group of other girls with disabilities had travelled for a conference in Nairobi via Entebbe International Airport.

That other girls were dropped off at the bus park but Dr. Eron continued driving with the victim in his car up to Namugongo Nsawo under the guise of dropping her at her home.

On reaching home at her Namugongo Nsawo, the victim was taken back to school and narrated her ordeal to the school senior woman who reported the matter to police.

Dr. Eron Lawrence was later issued with a warrant of arrest after he snubbed several police summons for months and on arrest, a search was made in his car where a yellow tablet (drug) which turned positive to boosting male election was recovered.

The DPP has informed chief magistrate Christine Nantege that she will also rely on several exhibits including the victims knickers and clothes she was wearing on that  tested positive for Dr. Eron Lawrence’s DNA and medical examination reports and  CCTV footage showing his car from Entebbe Airport to Nsawo Namugongo where he allegedly  committed the offence from.

Prosecution states that there is also evidence of medical reports showing that the accused infected the victim with HIV. In light of these charges, Kyambogo University relieved Dr. Eron Lawrence of his responsibilities as a vice -chancellor in – charge of the special needs program at the University.
