The Chairman Board of Governors of Kinkizi High School Goddie Willy Bakiga has urged students to embrace challenges while pursuing their studies.
Bakiga delivered the message at the Annual Academic Performance Giant’s Day Celebrations held at Kinkizi High School -Nyakatare in Kanungu District and the event honored top-performing students and teachers and featured a dedication service for UCE candidates.
Bakiga thanked the outgoing prefects for their work and congratulated the incoming prefects urging them to motivate their fellow students and work with teachers in the spirit of teamwork and integrity.
The school Head Teacher Rev Emmanuel Mutabazi, expressed gratitude to the initiative, started in 2002 by Ms Florence Byamugisha which aims to motivate learners and commended the former candidates of 2024 for their outstanding performance and thanked intercessors for their prayers and reaffirmed his commitment to give his best in service and urged students to live by abiding the schools principles.
The main preacher who conducted the dedication mass representing the Bishop of Kinkizi Diocese, Rev Stellah Arinaitwe advised students to turn challenges into opportunities and strive for excellence and emphasized the importance of discipline and hardwork, noting that education unlocks opportunities.
At the same event, the Chairperson of PTA, Rev Christine Mbabazi Tweheyo, thanked the school team for organizing the event and appreciated the Chaplain Rev Norah, for maintaining the good discipline and spirituality at the school.
The event was attended by members of PTA and local leaders among others. Kinkizi High School has a reputation for producing outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the society.
