Ndorwa East in Kabale District continues to feel the growing momentum of Alexander Kyokwijuka’s parliamentary campaign as he intensifies his community engagements across the constituency.

Kyokwijuka message is anchored on integrity, inclusive development, and practical solutions to longstanding challenges and is steadily winning the confidence of the people, one village at a time.

In the past few days following the official opening of campaign, Kyokwijuka has visited the parishes of Nyanja and Muyumbu, where he has  held intimate discussions with residents, elders, youth and women groups.

His approach, centered on consultation and mutual respect, has been widely welcomed as a refreshing departure from the traditional top–down model of leadership.

In Nyanja Parish, Kyokwijuka reaffirmed his commitment to people-centered development, emphasizing that real progress is achieved when leaders listen and act on community priorities.

While responding to the long-standing concern of water scarcity, Kyokwijuka assured residents that he will champion a sustainable safe water solution for all and reminded the people that he has previously supported the parish with protected water springs, but acknowledged that there is need is much bigger, and once elected, he will ensure a long-term, reliable water system for every home in Ndorwa East.

Women in Nyanja also welcomed his pledge to support reusable sanitary pads, an intervention he says will promote dignity, reduce absenteeism among girls, and lessen the financial burden on families.

In Muyumbu Parish, particularly in Nyakiju, Kyokwijuka emphasized the urgent need for electricity extension, promising to vigorously follow up on the matter so that Ndorwa East can fully benefit from the national grid and this assurance drew applause from residents who have long waited for reliable power to spur small businesses, improve livelihoods and enhance security.

At Kabura Trading Centre, Kyokwijuka delivered one of his most impactful messages yet and cautioned residents against the growing vice of voter bribery, reminding them that leaders who buy votes rarely serve the people.

“When someone buys your vote, they spend the rest of the term searching for money to replace what they used,” he said. “Your vote is your voice, protect it.”

Kyokwijuka assured the people that under his leadership, Ndorwa East will regain its rightful place in the national development agenda and promised to be a relentless voice in government, advocating for jobs, better services, and equitable resource allocation.

He pledged to address unemployment using both legislative tools and community-driven initiatives that empower households economically.

As his campaign trail expands across the constituency, many residents are viewing Kyokwijuka’s bid as a chance for new, transformative, and accountable leadership as his message is clear, consistent, and resonating deeply: Ndorwa East deserves better, and with the right leadership, better is within reach.

With every village he visits, Kyokwijuka continues to give Ndorwa East a compelling taste of the leadership he promises to deliver.
