KASESE- His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wisely Mumbere Iremangoma of Obusinga-Bwarenzruru has confirmed that government was steadily handling the concern of his health status.
Omusinga who confirmed that he had taken over seven years without medical checkup says its higher time he gets medical attention however he has warned the public especially the politicians not to politicize the issue.
The King made the pronouncement today evening while addressing a delegation of Rwenzururu veterans from Bundibujyo and Kabarole who paid him a visit.
Omusinga however hailed the members of parliament from Kasese District for having reminded government on its pledge about taking him for medical checkup as it had been pledged by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on December 13th 2023.
However, the King asked the Kingdom subjects to remain calm since his health status was not alarming as how the public was circulating it.
He says he is supposed to be having medical checkups normally since he is aging.
