Kyanja City Mall

Kyanja is the most thought after neighbourhood by the middle class in Kampala. This this just happen but the residents organised themselves and formed an organised community that everyone admires.

Security is good, we have support groups like rotary and rotaract clubs, the neighbourhood is clean the area is increasing green cover  courtesy of rotary, top notch health services are available,  Kyanja Schools are among the best in Uganda, we have major shopping malls and we can  access anything within Kyanja without going to the central business district. These factors have pushed rent high making Kyanja a place of choice for the Middle class.

When political season started, some people started asking me to contest and I told them that I don’t need to be an MP to serve my community. Your support is all I need to make a difference. You too don’t need to be an MP or a political leader in order to support Kyanja. If I become an MP, you might not see me as often. My team and I require your full commitment to deliver 100% service. Let’s work together to maintain Kyanja’s high rank by doing the following:

1. *Security Meetings*: Attend security meetings when called upon to ensure our community’s safety.

2. *KNW Support*: Provide financial support for Kyanja Neighbourhood Support (KNW) activities to drive positive change.

3. *Security Updates*: Report any security challenges promptly for swift response.

4. *KNW Membership*: Join Kyanja Neighbourhood Watch (KNW) by paying a one-time membership fee, and receive a KNW ID.

5. *Street Committee Involvement*: Participate in street committees (Similar to Mayumba Kumi) to achieve goals like street lighting and CCTV installation.

6. *Neighborly Love*: Support and care for your neighbors; be available when needed.

*Unite, love Each other in order to continue transforming Kyanja*

With unity and collective effort, Kyanja will transform in less than a year. Landlords, let’s encourage tenant participation in community works and support local leaders. We’re already working with elected officials and KCCA leaders to improve our roads.

*Together, We Can Make Kyanja Shine*
