PEMI Christians pose for a group photo with team Ogwang

NEWS– The Minister of state for education and sports Hon. Peter Ogwang has on Saturday delivered one million shillings to the Christians of Pentecostal Ecclesiastes Ministries international (PEMI).

The offer was delivered by Richard Opio-Edeket who is also the NRM party chairperson for Katakwi District in Akisim parish, Ngriam County.

Edeket while representing the Minister said, the church also received 50 bags of cement for the construction of the church and pledged total support of the Minister for the roofing of the church hence adding that, Ogwang is determined to continue supporting all churches in Ngariam County.

Margaret Imalingat the District councilor for Ngariam and Okore sub counties and charles Ikabat the LC3 for Okore advised the public to embracing Ogwangs work.

John Opolot who is incharge construction and other church members said the church will accommodate a total of 1,000 christians if completed.

Meanwhile, Postal Aron Oire who oversees Pemi churches in Uganda thanked the Minister for being a committed servant of God and asked christians to identify with Godly chosen leaders so as to realise development.

Oire mentioned this as he baptized 137 people and blessed 73 children.
