Addressing Head teachers and chairpersons of the PTAs at the district headquarters while distributing 1,645 pre-painted Iron Sheets with their 191ridges and 202Kgs of Nails plus 668 Twin desks, Mucunguzi said that the association held elections last year and most of the positions were taken by the Protestants before the Head teachers from the catholic faith spurned outcomes.

Mucunguzi said that shortly after the election, Head teachers from the catholic faith wrote a petitioning letter to the Rubanda District Chief Administration Officer informing him about their exit in the association leaving it to the Protestants and Muslims.

He added that the Districts Policy is to have similar Exams done in all the sub counties and Town councils within the district, however stressing that one faction decided not to have their pupils sit for the exams and decided to buy from another supplier which is uncalled for.

Mucunguzi spat fire on a section of Technical staff led by the inspector of schools Bamunyangira Francis commonly known as (BAMS) who fueled divisions among the head teachers association adding that they are ready to dissolve the association if they don’t resolve their issues
