Ruhinda County, Member of Parliament in Mitooma district, Capt. Dononzio Mugabe Kahonda, has said that the government will soon start works of tarmacking the Kashenshero- Rukungiri Road.
Hon. Kahonda in an exclusive interview with www.theinformerug.com recently applauded the Ugandan government for doing it’s best in serving Ugandans whom he said have now focused on development.
Hon. Kahonda, said he, as a legislator has managed to assist students enroll on the bursary program extended by the government to help Ugandans achieve their educational goals.
“We must all be grateful of this government; it has pioneered peace, education among other developmental sectors, which previous governments had totally failed to improve”. Hon. Kahonda said.
Hon Kahonda, on a development basis has contributed UGx 3Million in cash and pledged 50 bags of cement towards the construction of a boys’ dormitory at Sazinga day and boarding primary school.
The legislator also donated 30 bags of cement towards renovating Sazinga Church of Uganda and 30 bags to finish up Sazinga Catholic Church.
Amos Begumisa, the Head teacher Sazinga day and boarding primary school thanked the area legislator Kahonda for his cooperation with people which has seen the constituency boost in development.
Hon. Kahonda was in company of the embattled Mitooma district chairman Karyeija Benon aka Boneza.
