The Police in Bwera Division in Kasese District are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of 36 year old man identified as Kule John, a resident of Kinyangoko I Cell in Kisinga Town Council.
The Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Maate confirmed that Kule could have committed suicide today and it is alleged that the incident took place after the deceased had a domestic misunderstanding with his wife Biira Mackline after he returned home while drunk.
Maate explained that the two had verbal exchange and the deceased told the wife is going to commit suicide and he disappeared from his home, which prompted the wife to inform family members who started a search only to find him hanging on jackfruit tree of a neighbour identified as Baluku Charles.
Maate said that when a report was made at Kisinga Police Station, the detectives visited the scene of crime and documented it and the dead body was conveyed to Bwera Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examination as investigations into the matter continue.
