NEWS– The Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific and Africa Women’s Economic Exchange Association, Ms Fukuyo Nakamori has today visited Nakasero Government Aided Primary School in Kampala to explore ways of developing an exchange programme between Japanese and Ugandan schools.

Ms Nakamori was led on a guided visit to the school by the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah in company of Ministers and other officials from KCCA and the Ministry of Education and Sports.

Ms Nakamori who is reknowned for her commitment to charity work in Asia and Africa applauded Uganda for the warm reception and the hospitality so far exhibited.

Ms Nakamori is in Uganda for a three-day visit and promised to establish a cultural exchange between the Organisation and Ugandan Educational Institutions.

Asia-Pacific and Africa Women’s Economic Exchange Association is advancing women’s economic integration in the region a task that they have been promoting for nearly twenty years.

She said that there is need to continue recognizing and promoting women’s economic participation across the region on women and the economy.

She said that there is a Asia-Pacific and Africa Women’s Economic Exchange Association Sub-Fund which aims to institutionalize and provide ongoing support to advance their objectives of increasing women’s economic participation.
