Relating to football players, Bishop Akanjuna urged Christians to use this time as the first half to acknowledge what they have done wrong in front of Jesus, ask for forgiveness, and be on the right track for a better life.

The Bishop reminded Christians that if they have been doing poorly in their relationship with Christ, they should use this time to come back to Him and seek for forgiveness.

Bishop Akanjuna also encouraged Christians to assess their relationship with God, identify areas where they may have gone astray, and return to Him.

Drawing his teaching from Isaiah 63:7-9, the Bishop advised Christians that God is merciful and loves His people, saves them from any affliction, and lifts them up out of the darkest times and brings them hope as He did to Israelites. He therefore reminded them that Jesus walks with them, especially those who choose to walk through life with Him.

Bishop Akanjuna reminded parents to spend wisely, as their children will be reporting back to school for the first term soon hence urging them to enjoy, but keeping in mind that educating their children is key.
