OPINION– Mr Robert Kyaguranyi aka Bobi Wine, NUP Principle, well, allow me bring you greetings from Kigezi region, the land of the sober, wise and brilliant brains this Country Uganda has had and still has and will forever have.
Having read your rants written on 6th, May, 2025 addressed to some of the elders, Archbishop, Mbarara Archdiocese and Bishops from Kigezi and Ankole Sub regions, allow me, engage you as a son of the soil.
First and foremost, the elders you wrote your rants to are busy, peacefully either enjoying their own retirement or busy playing with their grand children or attending to their farms and have no business with your confusion. They are enjoying the peace that they contributed to since some were part of the struggle that ushered in the NRA/NRM government headed by His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, Uganda’s most loved, cherished, Charismatic President of all times.
This will keep on record for centuries and centuries to come.
In the first line/paragraph of your letter, it does not only try to disturb peace and security our elders are enjoying but also makes they feel so low for being indulged in X (twitter) rants between you and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, since when did X/social media become official channel to communicate issues of National importance?
Secondly, where do you get the moral authority to write against tribalism? You are the same person who has on several occasions branded Baganda or people in Buganda who still President Museveni and the People’s Mass Party, National Resistance Movement (NRM) as imbeciles! It is good that now the entire country, Uganda knows who the real imbecile or headless chicken̈ is!
Get it from me, Kigezi and Ankole leaders are not interested in mixing with in your confusions and as a region, our people are busy trying to work day and night to improve household incomes and creating wealth with in their communities. I am quite sure no one has your time, you might have already realized this by now, that your and your entire NUP hooligans will not win any village LC1, Sub County, municipal, LC5 or Member of Parliament position any where with in Kigezi or Ankole come 2026 general elections. Reason being simple, we reject any person of your character who is not only tribalistic, sectarian but also a joke who does even know the direction this Country Uganda is taking.
Like how you have previously branded people in Buganda who support NRM as imbeciles, wait and see how many more members of Parliament you will get in your own region, trust me the numbers will reduce and your brìefcase political party NUP is headed to extinction as NRM will gain more members of Parliament and more leaders at local council level.
Your games of wanting to ride on People’s sympathies are now crystal clear and known, soon Buganda and Baganda will isolate you further and you will enjoy the heat! You will ripe what you have sowed! You have sowed tribalism, hatred, chaos, played on the minds of innocent gullible youth populations in Buganda, watch the space nga bakuguddemu!
You won’t like the results but am sure you will enjoy the repercussions!
You therefore have no any *moral authority* to even write to our elders on tribalism!
Address your own personal issues with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, don’t be a cry baby, be a man! And stop mixing your own issues into National issues. Sort yourselves as men!
2026, H:E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa is on the ballot and Ugandans across the country will massively.
