NEWS- Kabale Muslim District council on Wednesday 5th June 2024 warned youth against undermining jobs saying that this has contributed to the increase in criminality in the area.
This was revealed by the Kabale District Khadi Sheik Kabu Lule during the sendoff of the late Nuriate Katwigyi in Kagugo cell, Bwayu Parish in Nyamweru sub county, Rubanda East constituency.
Preaching to the mourners, Kabu Lule showed concern on the high rate of criminality during the broad day and in front of cameras, a situation that is putting citizens at stake.
Lule pointed out that the majority of the youths underrate available jobs and later resort to criminality in their respective communities after failing to get some money to cater for their daily needs.
He further commended the Rubanda district chairperson Ampaire Stephen Kasyaba for having donated a land in Karengyere, Muko Sub County for the construction of a Muslim mosque in a bid to have their religion grow.
