KAMPALA- The Commander in Chief of the Armed forces who is also the President of the Republic of Uganda has promoted some officers in the force from one rank to another .
The seven officers according to Police Spokesman ACP Rusooke Kituuma have been elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police
In his September 4th 2024, Kituuma confirmed the development to the press in a statement and listed the promoted officers as here below.

SCP Baryamwisaki Felix
SCP Kafeero Moses
SCP Kataratambi Charles
SCP Mwesigwa Frank
SCP Namutebi Hadijah
SCP Wasswa
The police spokesperson congratulated the elevated officers saying that this will help improve the force leadership.
